Andrew Venell (b. Lake Forest, IL, 1979) is a multimedia artist based in San Francisco, California. His broadly interdisciplinary work incorporates generative art, collage, video, websites, interactive narrative, sculpture and performance, often employing pop cultural forms or rhetoric to expose repressed fears and desires of capitalist culture, the uncanny collisions of meaning submerged in narratives of advertising and politics.
