View Has Happened
Has Happened takes Total Information Awareness past its logical conclusion, imagining a world where Paul Virilio’s “time accident” has already occurred (/is occurring): where past, present and future calamities merge into an ongoing crisis of history itself. News clips are continuously pulled from a database and layered, while the ticker assembles a continuous sentence out of selections from Virilio’s Unknown Quantity.
