Andrew Venell (b. Lake Forest, IL, 1979) is a multimedia artist based in San Francisco, California. His new media, hypertext, collage and experiential artworks address his ongoing interests in urbanism, surveillance, food advertising, safety instructions, shopping malls, televised disasters, flaneurie, overenthusiastic child models, technological glitches, video games, attractive dystopias, airplanes, the spectacle and the aesthetics of decay.
Andrew works as a freelance designer and art instructor.
